You know how much I love homemade pasta, right? If you haven’t seen it yet, make sure to check out the video I posted that shows just how simple it is to make. This recipe is inspired by a restaurant called CITY House in Nashville. Lindsay and Taylor took us there when we visited them last October. I had a similar pasta dish with Swiss chard and got hooked. It was such a simple yet comforting dish. I really believe a dish doesn’t need to be complicated to be comforting.
I love cooking spinach, so why haven’t I tried Swiss chard before? I think it actually tastes better than spinach when cooked. I start by cutting down the middle, removing the large rib, and then chopping it into pieces like in the picture above. It only takes me 15 minutes to prepare this dish from start to finish, and it’s such a comforting meal. You really can’t go wrong with this dish using homemade pasta!
And remember that KitchenAid surprise I mentioned last week? Well, here it is!
