Recipe for Cheese Balls

Today, I’m excited to share three different cheese ball recipes, including a delicious bacon cheese ball. These recipes are incredibly easy to make, and they’re sure to impress everyone, from family to friends!

Previously, I showed you how to create a meat and cheese board using Cabot Cheese, and now I’m back with this fantastic cheese ball recipe that will be the perfect addition to your spread.

In our household, we’re big fans of Cabot cheeses. We always keep 2-3 blocks of Cabot cheese stocked in the fridge, and our grater gets plenty of use!

Now, let’s dive into the recipes:

### Bacon Cheese Ball
This bacon cheese ball is absolutely divine! While I can’t pick a favorite among the three recipes, I’ll let you guess which one might be the most popular.

### Pecan-Covered Cheese Ball
I love pairing nuts with cheese, so this pecan-covered cheese ball is such a fun and flavorful option!

### Sunflower Seed Cheese Ball
If you’re a fan of sunflower seeds like I am, you’ll adore this cheese ball. It has a wonderful texture and makes for a perfect snack.

Cheese balls pair wonderfully with all kinds of crackers. I recommend adding a small spreader to your plate for easy serving.

You can prepare these cheese balls a day or two in advance. Mine kept well in the refrigerator for about a week and still tasted amazing. Just let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to make spreading easier.

For this recipe, I used Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar Cheese, but feel free to use your favorite Cabot Cheddar variety.

### How to Make Cheese Balls
1. Start by grating your Cabot Cheddar Cheese.
2. Add softened cream cheese to a mixing bowl.
3. Mix in cayenne pepper, garlic powder, black pepper, soy sauce, and green onions.
4. Use a rubber spatula to blend everything together.
5. Add the grated Cabot Cheddar Cheese to the mixture and combine.
6. Divide the mixture into three portions.

#### For Each Cheese Ball:
– **Bacon and Parsley**: Combine chopped bacon and parsley in a small bowl and roll one portion of the cheese mixture in it.
– **Pecans**: Roll the second portion in chopped pecans.
– **Sunflower Seeds**: Roll the last portion in sunflower seeds.

Place the cheese balls on squares of wax paper, cover, and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

### Tips
These cheese balls are perfect for snacking or serving as an appetizer before dinner, and they’re a fantastic addition to a grazing table.
