I’ve always enjoyed chicken lettuce wraps at restaurants and have been eager to try making them myself. With a delightful package from the National Honey Board in hand, I explored their website and discovered a wealth of fantastic recipes—many of them healthy! One recipe, featuring chicken lettuce wraps with 2 tablespoons of honey, particularly caught my eye.
To say my husband enjoyed this dish would be an understatement. It’s sure to become a staple in our household. He was enthusiastic about my making it and even suggested adding rice noodles to the mix. If you want to transform this recipe into a more substantial meal, include the rice noodles; for a lighter appetizer option, simply omit them.
We tried using both types of lettuce to see which worked best and found that we liked them equally.
