I enjoy the taste of Florida orange juice, drinking it almost every day. Collaborating with the Florida Department of Citrus is exciting because I get to share delicious recipes featuring their orange juice. Don’t miss the orange shrimp tacos recipe I posted recently!
This cake is absolutely phenomenal, especially with the dark chocolate ganache. If I baked this for you, I’m pretty sure we’d become best friends!
Let’s get started: first, combine the flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar. Next, add vanilla extract and mix thoroughly. Incorporate the eggs and ensure you’re scraping the bottom and sides of the bowl for an even blend.
Now comes the magic ingredient—Florida orange juice! As you mix it in, don’t worry if the batter appears curdled. Gradually add the flour mixture in two parts, just enough to blend.
Generously spray a 12-cup bundt cake pan to prevent sticking. Pour in your batter, smooth the top with a spatula, and tap the pan gently to eliminate air bubbles. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, and behold—the masterpiece!
Slowly drizzle the chocolate ganache over the cake for a rich, luxuriant finish. Chocolate and orange are such a delightful combination!
This orange bundt cake with chocolate ganache is perfect for sharing with family and friends at your next summer gathering—trust me, they’ll love it!
